Mesh Topology

The primary Deco unit will act as the wireless uplink for all other Deco units.

For best performance the primary Deco should be closest to the area where the majority of WiFi usage occurs. Wireless mesh units can be used to extend coverage to lower traffic areas. 

A 3 unit deployment should have the primary Deco central to the area with the most usage, and the satellite units should be nearly equidistant from the primary.

Verify received signal strength and PHY rate using “Topology” tab of the client’s management page.
